Cable Connections
Both power and video connections are made to the printed circuit board (PC board). Refer to Figure 4 when
performing these connections. Refer to the Twisted Pair or Coaxial Cable Recommendation in the reference
section.
Video Cable
Coaxial
To connect video cables to the camera, attach a customer-supplied male BNC connector to the video cable
and then connect it to the mating BNC connector on the pendant cable on the PC board. Refer to Figure 4.
Note:
After mating the male/female BNC connectors, it is recommended that these connections be wrapped
with electrical tape to prevent shorts.
Twisted Pair
For the model using the twisted-pair video connection, use the twisted-pair video plug (provided in the
accessory kit). Strip off approximately 0.25 in. (6 mm) of insulation from each individual wire. Attach each wire
to the 2-pin female connector and tighten screws to secure wires. Insert female connector into 2-pin
connector (P8) on the PC board. This signal is polarized and specific wire connection is necessary. See
Table below.
