UV-C may not be put into operation until it has been built into an appliance/machine to a
maximum depth of 9 metres or has been assembled with other appliances/machines to
form an appliance/machine that meets the harmonized European standards applicable to
the assembled appliance/machine, and in particular the standards defined in NEN-EN-IEC
60335-2-109:2010.
• The cable of the appliance cannot be replaced. The complete electrical unit of the
appliance must be replaced if there is any damage to the power cable.
• Once the appliance has been switched off, the lamp will remain hot for approximately 10
minutes.
• Do not use the appliance if any of the components are damaged (this particularly applies
to the quartz glass).
• Appropriate precautions should be taken to prevent freezing if there is any risk that the
appliance might freeze.
This product may only be used according to the guidelines described in this manual

1. For your own safety, put on the supplied UV safety goggles (A)
2. Wear the supplied gloves (B)
3. Carefully take parts C, D, E, J and H out of the packaging
4. Fit the O-ring (G) at the end of the quartz glass and place the screw part (H) around the
quartz glass
5. Push the O-ring (J) in the appropriate notch of the plastic ring at the end of the quartz
glass.
6. Take the UV-C lamp (C) out of the tube
7. Carefully slide the lamp (C) into the quartz glass (D)
8. Place the lamp fitting (F) on the lamp (C)
9. Slide the lamp fitting into the quartz glass and hand-tighten the nut (I) onto the screw part
(H). This will ensure that the O-ring (J) is locked in and that the connection is therefore
watertight
10. Install the electrical unit (E) in a dry/sheltered position
11. Fit or place the Immersion UV-C in the desired appliance/machine in such a way that the
combination meets the standards defined in NEN-EN-IEC 60335-2-109:2010
