5.7. Procedure 4: TRANSFER FROM MAINTENANCE BYPASS MODE TO NORMAL MODE
Starting with each UPS in maintenance bypass, this procedure explains how to turn ON the UPS and to
transfer the load to normal mode. Then, after a short period, it selects the appropriate operating mode,
which depends on the ambient conditions it has detected. Perform the following procedure on each UPS:

Energize all the UPS in the system by closing the upstream
breakers (mains and bypass)
Once the all the UPS have been energized apply the following steps to all UPS in the system

Switch QS1 on Box to ON position (all UPS)
Only in case of BOX in
version FULL

Switch QS1-n on each Core to ON position (all UPS)

Wait for Rectifier on each Core ON position
On the TS-LCD the Rectifier
icon is green and the VDC is
> 700V

Switch QS44 to ON position (all UPS)
6
Switch QS2 to ON position (all UPS)
Fans on the BOX ON

Switch QS4_n on each Core to ON position (all UPS)
Fans on each Core ON

Switch QS9_n on each Core to ON and Close the external
battery disconnector (all UPS)

Switch QS4 on Box to ON position (all UPS)
Only in case of BOX in
version FULL

Open the external maintenance bypass switch
In case the system is put in maintenance bypass with the
Internal switch, open QS3 in all Box
Only in case of BOX in
version FULL
Once the previous steps have been performed for all UPS in the system proceed with the further
steps

Turn inverter ON by pressing the ON button
on the TS-LCD of each UPS
System in normal mode
