4.3. Procedure 3: TRANSFER FROM NORMAL MODE TO MAINTENANCE BYPASS MODE
Starting from the UPS in normal operation mode, this procedure explains how to transfer the load to
maintenance bypass and shut down the UPS.

to normal mode.

By pressing the stop button icon

Switch QS9_n on each Core OFF and Open the
external battery disconnector

Switch QS3 to ON position
Only in case of BOX in version FULL
In case of UPS w/o QS3, close the external
maintenance bypass switch
In case of BOX in version value or
empty

Switch QS4 on Box to OFF position
Only in case of BOX in version FULL
5
Switch QS4_n on each Core to OFF position
Fans on each Core OFF

Switch QS1-n on each Core to OFF position
7
Switch QS2 to OFF position
8
Switch QS44 to OFF position
Fans on the BOX OFF
9
Switch QS1 on Box to OFF position
Only in case of BOX in version FULL

Energize the UPS by closing the upstream
breakers (mains and bypass)

Switch QS1 on Box to ON position

Switch QS1-n on each Core to ON position

Wait for rectifier on each Core ON
On the TS-LCD the rectifier icon is
green and the VDC is > 700V

Switch QS44 to ON position

Switch QS2 to ON position
Fans on the BOX ON

Switch QS4_n on each Core to ON position
Fans on each Core ON

Switch QS9_n on each Core to ON and close the
external battery disconnector

Switch QS4 on Box to ON position
Only in case of BOX in version FULL

Switch QS3 to OFF position.
Only in case of BOX in version FULL
In case of UPS w/o QS3, open the external
maintenance bypass switch.
