7 CHECKLIST FOR COMPLETED INSTALLATION
7.1 Moving and Placing Equipment
1. Unpack and check received material.
2. Proper clearance for service access has beenmaintained around the equipment.
3. Equipment is level and mounting fasteners are tight.
4. If equipment has beendisassembled for installation, unit must be reassembled per instructions.
7.2 Electrical Installation Checks
1. Supply voltage and phase matches equipment nameplate.
2. Power wiring connections completed to the disconnect switchand unit.
3. Power line circuit breakers or fuses have proper ratings for equipment installed.
4. Control wiring connections completed betweenindoor evaporator and heat-rejectionequipment.
5. All internal and external high- and low-voltage wiring connections are tight.
6. Confirm that unit is properly grounded to anearthground.
7. Control transformer setting matches incoming power.
8. Electrical service conforms to national and local codes.
9. Check blowers and compressors for proper rotation.
7.3 Piping Installation Checks
1. Piping completed to coolant loop.
2. Piping has beenleak-checked.
3. Piping has beenflushed to clear debris, pipe dope, and contaminants.
4. Piping is properly sized, sloped and trapped as showninthe piping schematics.
5. Check piping inside and outside of equipment for proper support and adequate spacing to prevent rub-
through.
6. Ensure that factory clamps have beenreinstalled.
7. Drainline connected, not obstructed, and pitched per local code.
8. Water supply line connected to humidifier and not leaking.
9. Condensate drainconnected.
10. Condensate pump, if applicable, is operational.
7.4 Other Installation Checks
1. Ducting or plenum assembly complete (if required), maintainaccess to filters.
2. Filters installed.
3. Check fasteners that secure , reheats, humidifier and motors—some may have become loose during shipment.
4. Verify water detectionis properly installed around all units (recommended).
5. Blower drive system rotates freely and belts are properly aligned and tensioned.
6. All fans are free of debris.
7. Remove rubber band from float inoptional infrared humidifier.
