overview
The rack mounting bracket kit contains
two brackets and a 1U rack shelf. Either
bracket may be used as left or right
bracket.
1. attaching the brackets
to the console system
Remove the screws and brackets
from the ACS800 Advanced
Console System Wall Mount
Accessory Kit. Position each
bracket so its slotted flange is
located along the bottom edge and
its slotted face is positioned under
the console system. Secure the
mounting brackets to the console
system using two (2) 6-32 panhead
screws per bracket.
2. attaching the console system
to the shelf.
Place the console system upside
down on a work surface. Remove
the rack mount shelf from the
accessory kit box and place it
upside down on top of the console
system. Align the countersink screw
holes on the shelf with the mating
holes in the slotted brackets on the
console system. Secure the console
system to the shelf with two (2)
6-32 flathead screws for each
bracket.
3. Securing the power cords
Plug the power cord into the
console system. Slip the supplied
cable retention tie-wrap through
the hardware adjacent to the power
connector. Align the power cord
with the hardware and loosely
capture with the tie-wrap. Ensure
sufficient slack exists between the
plug and the cable attachment
hardware, and cinch the
tie-wrap to secure the power cord.
4. Installing the console system
into the rack
Place the power supply on the read
of the shelf behind the console
system, then place the shelf in the
desired 1U rack space and secure it
with two (2) rack mounting screws
in each shelf ear. Confirm the shelf
is level and does not interfere with
adjacent equipment, then tighten
the screws.
NotE:
Rack mounting screws are not
provided with the rack mounting kit.
Ensure you use screws appropriate for
your rack.
