REMOVING COMMAND CENTER BRACKET
In order to
fi
t insert into a smaller opening, the command
center bracket may be removed. Refer to Pages 6 and 9
for dimensions.
If the bracket is removed, the small 2" deep, three-sided
surround, model ICF40S3B is required to mount command
center. Refer to surround instructions.
1. Remove command center from bracket by sliding out
to the right.

2. Carefully lay unit on its back. Remove two (2) screws
holding bracket to insert.

INSTALLATION
INSERT PLACEMENT
•
The insert must be placed within a code-conforming
masonry
fi
replace or a tested and listed zero-clearance
(UL-127, solid fuel)
fi
replace. Repair any
fi
replace
damage prior to installation.
•
Because the insert uses a circulation blower, clean the
fi
replace, smoke shelf and chimney before installing.
•
This heater may be placed in a bedroom. Please be
aware of the large amount of heat this appliance pro-
duces when determining a location.
