4. USE
Temperature control:
• The temperature control is located near the top of the unit. You turn it
using a coin.
• Turning the thermostat knob adjusts the temperature of the freezer.
• The marks on the knob represant different settings. Setting 1 is the
warmest and setting 4 is the coldest.
• The factory recommended setting is 2 for normal operating
conditions.

Precautions for use
• The appliance might not operate consistently (there is possibility of
defrosting or temperature becoming too warm in the frozen food
compartment) if situated for an extended period of time below the cold
limit of the temperature range for which the freezerrating appliance is
designed.
• The information about the climate type of the appliance is provided on the
rating label.
• The internal temperature can be affected by such factors as the location of
the freezerrating appliance, the ambient temperature, and how frequently
the door is opened. If necessary, the setting of any temperature control
device might have to be adjusted to allow for these factors.
• Effervescent drinks should not be stored in the freezer compartment or the
low-temperature compartment, and some products, such as water ices,
should not be consumed too cold.
