To use it the RS232 port first be
turned on and set to GPS
for the
input.

RS232 port
from the Setup menu
2. Select
GPS
from the menu
3. Select Port 1 usually
4. Press
CLEAR / NO
to get back to the Setup menu
To turn the GPS sensor on:
1. Select
Sensors…
from the Setup menu
2. Select
GPS Sensors
3. Select
GPS On/Off
4. Select
ON
to save GPS position at start and end of the test
5. Select
GPS Speed
6. Select
ON
to save speed every 5Hz

The internal accelerometers have several settings.
G Summation
Use X, XY or XYZ axes for acceleration
G smoothing
Smooth acceleration data
Zeroing On/Off
Zero the accelerometers before a test
Accel Range
Choose 2G or 6G maximum acceleration
G adjust
Finely tune the pitch and roll factors
Graph Range
Set the range for the on screen graphs
Alarm Threshold Set the accelerometer alarm for monitor G mode
Sample Rate
Choose 1, 10, 100, 500 or 1000Hz
G Summation
Summation OFF
