Recording (PVR Function)
Your television features a PVR recording function which lets you:
•
Instantly record a digital TV program (via the one-touch recording button on the
remote control).
•
Time-shift playback of a digital television program.
•
Set a timer to record future digital TV programs (via the “Add” function in
Schedule List of the Channel menu, see page 31 for details).
Instant One-Touch Recording and Playback (DTV Mode Only)
When Watching a Digital Program:
•
Press the
button on the remote control and below tool bar will appear on the
screen.
•
Press the / buttons to select the desired option in the tool bar and press the OK
button to confirm it. If the tool bar has disappeared, press the EXIT button to display
it again.
•
Press the
button on the remote control to bring up a dialogue box. Select “Yes” to
save the recorded program and stop recording.
To Watch a Recorded Program:
•
Press the INDEX button on the remote control to bring up the Recorded List.
•
Press the
/
buttons to select a recorded file and press the OK/ button to
start playback.
Time-Shift Recording And Playback (DTV Mode Only)
When Watching a Digital Program:
•
If you don’t want to miss any part of the program when temporarily leaving, press
the
button on the remote control to enter TIME SHIFT mode.
•
Press the
button again when you’re back to display the tool bar.
•
Press the
/
buttons
to select Play in the tool bar and press OK to watch the
program in TIME SHIFT mode.
IMPORTANT!
Before recording (including time-shift recording), you must have inserted a FAT32
formatted USB storage device into the USB port.
