From inside the rear compartment, secure the tops of
the M6 x 65 set screws you have just fitted with M6 x
12.5 x 1.2 flat washers and M6 nyloc nuts supplied as
in Diagram #3. Leave loose.

Using an 8.5mm diameter drill bit, enlarge the hole in
the plastic only on both sides at the position where the
L-Bracket forward mounting attaches (shown in
position #1, Diagram #4).
6.
Fit the part #469 stepped washers into the holes in the
plastic you have just enlarged in step #5.
7.
The L-Bracket forward mountings fit as in Diagram #4
using the M6 x 20 set screws through M6 x 12.5 x 1.2
flat washers, then the L-Bracket flat mountings, then
the part #469 stepped washers, then into the bike,
leave loose.

8.
Fit a Pack-Rack or Sport-Rack into the L-Brackets,
ensure the rack is level and tighten all mounting
hardware. Additional M8 washers are supplied and
may be fitted between the crossmember ends and L-
Bracket rear mountings to adjust the width if
necessary.
9.
Remove the rack.
10. Re-fit the tool kit, seats and rack.
11. Tighten the L-Bracket locking devices by following the
“General Instructions for Use”
