The EKF EC kitchen extract fan is supplied with 3 x optional discharge positions. Before installation,
consideration needs to be given to which discharge outlet is required. The discharge panel and 2 x
access panels are interchangeable to suit the installation.
It is recommended that duct connections to the unit are made via flexible connectors, (see accessories
list).
Mounting the unit
If mounting the unit outdoors:
the unit MUST be installed with a weather roof fitted (see accessories list);
it is suggested that the unit is mounted at least 150mm off the floor surface.
If suspending the unit, it is recommended that the unit is supported underneath. The M6 nutserts that are
fitted to the framework can be used to fix supports. Take care not to obstruct the access panel. Vent-
Axia supplies a mounting feet kit, (see accessories list).
