STEP 5.
Thread wood screws (D) through holes in cross panel (6) and into holes in
back edge of mantel assembly. Secure with Phillips screwdriver. Tighten all bolts and
screws.
ANT-TIP SAFETY KIT INSTALLATION
1. Attach one bracket (G) to the wall with
the long screw (E). Secure with a
Phillips screwdriver.
DO NOT over-tighten
NOTE: Make sure to screw directly
through the drywall and into a wall
stud. If no wall stud is available, or if
you have a concrete wall, consult a
professional for proper installation.
2. Attach the second bracket (G) near the
top of the mantel frame with the short
screw (F). Secure with a Phillips
screwdriver.
DO NOT over-tighten
3. Move the furniture into its final position.
Thread strap (H) through the bracket
and tighten strap until snug.
DO NOT over-tighten.
4. Make sure the bracket is firmly
attached to the wall, and to the mantel,
and that the strap is snug.
NOTICE
The wall mount fasteners included with this anti-tip kit are for use ONLY with a
wood-framed wall covered in drywall (sheet rock). For concrete walls, cinder
blocks, or other wall types, consult a professional for the best attachment methods.
