ENGLISH: IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Read instructions carefully before installation and operation. Keep instructions for
future reference and hand them over to any new user.
Safety
• The roller blind must not be put into operation until it has been fitted according
to the instructions.
• The roller blind can be used by persons (aged 8 years and above) with sufficient
experience and knowledge if they have been given instruction concerning its
safe use and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be made by unsupervised children.
• Disconnect mains supply before carrying out any maintenance or service work
and ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.
• Do not operate the roller blind if repair or adjustment is required.

• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.

• To remove the roller blind, please contact your VELUX sales company.
NOTE:
The motor must be adjusted to the size of the window before full operation
of the roller blind begins. The adjustment will take place automatically the first
time the roller blind is operated. Before the roller blind runs to the desired position,
it runs all the way up and down. Do not interrupt the adjustment!
Where roller blinds are connected to a control unit with the io-homecontrol
® logo,
it applies that if the power has been switched off for min. 10 sec., pressing the
STOP key and subsequently the UP/DOWN key on the control within 30 seconds
after reconnection will result in a new adjustment.
Where roller blinds are connected to open systems supplying ±24 V d.c. and are
fully opened, pressing the UP function on your control unit a minimum of 5 times
for at least one second at a time, will activate a new adjustment when pressing
DOWN on your control unit afterwards.

Maintenance
• The roller blind requires a minimal amount of maintenance. The surface may be
cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
• Maintenance and installation must be carried out in consideration of Health and
Safety at Work requirements.
• Spare parts are available through your VELUX sales company. Please provide
information from the data label.
• Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with national regulations
for electronic waste and not with household waste.
