switch off automatically after ±20 minutes.

To switch the

off, press and hold the control button

Pairing/connecting
•
Pairing can be done with a Bluetooth mobile phone or a computer
with a build-in Bluetooth function running Windows Vista.
•
Make sure the headset is off.
•
Press and hold the control button
[5]
for ±7s until the indicator LED
flashes red and blue alternately.
•
Look in the search list of your Bluetooth phone for ‘
Avantalk
Jogger
’ and pair it (refer to the user manual of your phone for more
information) or open the Bluetooth software on your PC and add the
‘Avantalk Jogger’
as new device (refer to the user manual of your
PC for more instructions).
•
In case a pin code is requested, enter ‘0000’ (4 times zero).
•
Make a connection to the headset.
•
Once paired and connected, the headset will automatically connect
to the phone when the headset is switched on – provided the phone
is within operating range.
Basic operation
•
To answer a call, press the control button
[5]
. Press again to end
the call. A second call can only be answered by pressing the control
button
[5]
thus ending the first call.
•
To reject a call, press and hold the control button
[5]
for ±3s. To
reject a second incoming call, press the previous button
[3]
shortly.
•
When voice dial is available from your phone, press the volume up
[10]
and down
[9]
buttons simultaneously and pronounce the voice
tag.
Note:
some phones require to pre-record voice tags.
•
To redial the last number, press the control button
[5]
twice.
•
To transfer a call back from your headset to the phone, press and
hold the control button
[5]
for 2s. To transfer back to the
headphone, press and hold the control button
[5]
again for 2s.
•
To mute the microphone
[8]
, press and hold the next button
[6]
until you hear a short beep. In mute status, you will hear 2 beeps
every 3 seconds. Press the next button
[6]
again to un-mute.
•
To restore all default settings, press and hold the next button
[6]
for
±8s until the LED indicator
[2]
flashes blue and red; then press and
hold the control button
[5]
for ±4s. A beep indicates that the
headphone has been reset to default settings.
