DCM267                                                                                                                                                                    GB

WARNING

Remove the thermocouple before selecting another function in order to avoid electroshocks.

Disconnect the test leads from all measurement circuits prior to using the thermocouple.

Do not use the test leads for voltage measurements unless the thermocouple has been
disconnected.

6.6. Frequency  Measurements

1) Connect the red test lead to the “VHz”-jack and the black test lead to the “COM”-jack.
2) Place the rotary switch in the “Hz”-position.
3) Connect the test leads to the source to be measured.

NOTES :

Do not apply more than 250Vrms to the input.

Use shielded cable for measuring small signals when working in an environment with a lot of
radio interference.

6.7. Diode  Measurements

1) Connect the red test lead to the “

”-jack and the black test lead to the “COM”-jack. The

polarity of the red test lead is positive (+).

2) Place the rotary switch in the

 -position.

3) Connect the red test lead to the anode and connect the black test lead to the cathode of the

diode to be tested.

4) The approximate forward voltage drop of the diode will be displayed. The figure “1” will be

displayed if the polarity is reversed.

6.8. Audible Continuity Test

1) Connect the red test lead to the “

”-jack and the black test lead to the “COM”-jack.

2) Place the range switch in the

-position.

3) Connect the test leads to two points of the circuit to be tested. The built-in buzzer will sound if

continuity exists.

7. Specifications
