AVMOD8                                                                                                                                                                               NL

Attention  :

The receiver automatically detects the receiving channels and displays them sequentially. One single channel
is continuously received if only 1 channel has its switch in the ON position and this regardless of the setting of
the fifth switch. If two or more channels have their switch in the ON position, then the auto sequence function
will work for each of those channels.
The receiver automatically sets channel 1 as the receiving channel if not a single channel switch is placed in
the ON position.

10.  Problems and Solutions

You are not receiving a signal :

The transmitter and receiver must be properly connected to the A/V systems receiving the signal.

Make sure the transmitter is connected with the source and the receiver is connected with the reception device.

Check the ON/OFF switches on transmitter and receiver.

Check the power supply of your TV remote (VCR, LD-player, satellite receiver, etc.).

Check if the plugs for the power supply are properly connected.

Check all cable connections.

Make sure the channel switches for transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel number.

If the receiver is connected to the TV via an RF modulator you should check if the TV is set to the same channel as the
switch of the RF modulator (channel 3 or 4).

You're getting a weak signal or the picture is distorted

Orient the antennas. See also “Orienting Devices” on p. 6.

Set the same channel for transmitter and receiver.

Make sure there is no microwave between the transmitter and receiver. If so, turn it off or remove it.

Transmitter and receiver should not be more than 100m apart.

Check the setting of the channel switches on the receiver.

11.  Maintenance

Do not touch the antennas unnecessarily.

Keep your AVMOD8 dry. Water contains minerals that would corrode the electronic circuits.

Do not keep this device in a dusty or dirty environment to avoid damage to the moving parts.

Do not store the device in hot places. High temperatures are detrimental to the life of electronic devices and do not
forget that plastic can melt.

Do not store the device in a very cold environment. This may lead to condensation in the device when next you move
the device to a warmer environment.

Do not try to open the housing. Have a skilled technician repair or check the device.

Do not drop the AVMOD8, do not shake it or hit it. Excessively rough treatment may damage the internal circuits.

Wipe the device clean with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

Only use the supplied adapters.
