3.  Installation -- general

Before you make connection :

Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
Select the same channel for transmitter and receiver using the channel switches at the back of both units.
Several methods can be used to establish the connection, depending on the kind of TV you have and the A/V system used
(VCR, DVD, satellite receiver, etc.). Make the connection according to the manual of your A/V system.

4.  Installing the Transmitter

a)  Connect an A/V cable with the A/V jacks of the transmitter, making sure the colours of the plugs match those of the

receiver's jacks.

b)  Connect the other extremity of the cable with the A/V jacks of the A/V system (LINE OUT). Mind the colours in this case

as well. Below you will find a number of connection possibilities.

Remark  :  The connector to the A/V system is a SCART connector for PAL systems. Connect the SCART connector

(‘transmitter”) with the SCART jack (OUT) of the A/V system and connect the RCA connector with the receiver
(AVMOD8TX = additional transmitter).

Connection to a TV without A/V OUT (jacks)

Remark  :  If the TV only has one audio output (mono), then you should connect the white plug with this audio input and

with the AUDIO LEFT jack of the receiver. If the jacks on the TV are a different colour, then you should connect
the yellow plug with the VIDEO jack, the red plug with the AUDIO RIGHT jack and the white plug with the
AUDIO LEFT jack.
