Remark 1
: With an NTSC system, the connector of the A/V device is an RCA jack with an NTSC system. Connect
the yellow plug with the VIDEO jack, the red plug with the AUDIO RIGHT jack and the white plug with the AUDIO
LEFT jack.
Remark 2
: With a PAL system you have to connect the SCART connector labelled TRANSMITTER with the OUT
connector of the A/V device.
Remark 3
: If the A/V device only has one audio output (only mono sound), then you should connect the white plug
with the audio output jack.
1.2. Power Supply
1. Connect the supplied power adapter with an outlet and connect the other end with the back of the transmitter. See
also figure 5.
2. Turn on the transmitter. The LED on the front panel should light.
2. Installing the Receiver
2.1. Connecting the Receiver with a TV
A/V connection – for a TV with A/V input jacks
Connect the mini plug of the supplied A/V cable with the A/V jack at the back of the receiver and connect the other
end of the cable with the VIDEO, AUDIO & IN jacks (or SCART connector "OUT") at the back of the A/V device
(labelled LINE IN). See also figure 6.
RF connection – for a TV without A/V input jacks
If your TV is not equipped with A/V input jacks, then you will have to purchase an RF modulator at your local
electronics shop to make the connection between the TV and the receiver. See also figure 7.
Connection via an A/V device
If an A/V device (VCR, DVD player, DBS receiver, etc.) is connected with your TV, then you can simply connect the
receiver with the unused LINE IN jacks of the A/V device. See also figure 8.
