Guidance screen
The guidance screen appears as soon as you activate the guidance.
The guidance screen displays the following information:

Road direction arrow: The arrow indicates the course of the road.

Simplified presentation of the next turn-off prompt.

Turn-off prompt: A graphic display of the next crossroads or junction. In addition,
directional changes are announced with audible messages.

Road into which to turn at the next announcement.
5
You are in an area with incomplete map information.

Distance to the next change in direction.*

Option field. Move the cursor to the required symbol and confirm:

: Return to the main control

: To “
Alternative route

: Display and select route criterion. See page 38.

: To information screens. See page 39.

Status field. Display of the following possible information:
– Remaining driving distance
– Remaining travel time
– Estimated time of arrival
– Current time
You can configure the status field in the “
System settings
” menu. See page 50.

Only with optional TMC extension:
As soon as any traffic obstructions reported by TMC pertain to the planned route, a
brief message appears, indicating the distance to the nearest obstruction and its
type.
* The measuring units are dependent on the system settings. See chapter “System
Settings”, page 49.
