System settings
To adjust the Navigation System to your own preferences you can modify
various settings.

Settings
” from the main menu.

The “
System settings
” menu is shown.
The following options are available:
Car position
This option enters the “
Car position
” input menu. Car position input is only
required if the Navigation System is unable to relocate itself.
Display
To rotate the display contents 180 degrees for over-head mounting of the
display.
Volume
To adjust the volume level of voice messages and to turn off verbal guidance
advice.
Route selection
To select criteria which influence the route planning.
Traffic info
(not available in the U.S.)
Language
To load languages for verbal advice and menu text from a separate language
CD (optional CD required).
Measuring units
To select the measuring units for the displayed distances.
Date / Time
To set the time and date format and to adjust the offset for different time
zones.
SDVC Mode
To adjust the speed dependent volume control.
System information
To get information on the hardware and software versions of the set
(important in case of service).
Service
Code protected menu for diagnostic purposes.
Return
To return to the main menu.
