Contents of an address book entry

You can store the following data in an address book entry:

Name:

A name of your choice for the destination address consisting of a

maximum of 10 characters *;

City:

The city name of the destination address;

Road:

The road name of the destination address*;

Intersection:

An intersection to specify your destination more precisely*;

or a facility from “

Points of interest

”*.

* optional input

Storing addresses in the personal address book

If you have not entered a destination address yet:

Enter the data (city, road, junction or special facility) of the desired
destination address in the destination input menu.

Select “

Address book

” from the destination input menu.

First select “

Name

”, if you want to assign a name to the destination

address. Enter any character string of up to 10 characters with the
“keyboard”. Confirm your entry by selecting “

OK

”.

If you don't want to assign a name, directly select “

Store address

”.

Select “

Store address

”.

Now the address is stored in the address book.

Loading addresses from the address book

Select “

Load address

” from the address book menu.

:

The list of addresses already stored in the address book is shown.

Select the desired address from the list and confirm.

:

The selected address is registered as the new destination address.

Loading one of the destinations last used

If you want to load one of the 10 destinations last used for guidance from the
address book:

Select “

Load last dest.

” from the address book menu.

Select the desired destination from the list.
