Manual
This can be displayed either permanently or only if an alarm occurs.
The option “Hold” allows alarms triggered to remain stored as active
in the display. So even if the original alarm status disappears, the
cause of the alarm is still visible in the video display. Otherwise, the
display reverts to passive as soon as the alarm status disappears.
Alarm Input
Activation
The available alarm sources are listed below the alarm display
described above. Each individual alarm source can be activated by
selecting the “On” field:
Video alarm
monitors the input signal of the active camera using
synchronous pulses. If the camera fails an alarm is triggered.
Input contact
is used for connecting external detectors. For the
alarm contact you can set whether an alarm is to be triggered in a
closed (High active) or closed (Low active) state. You can assign
any name to the input which describes the external detector, con-
tact or sensor connected, making assignment considerably easier.
The names are stored in the non-volatile memory of the
VideoJet
X.21/G.703
device.
Motion detection
is an integral part of all
VideoJet X.21/
G.703
devices. Its method of functioning and configuration is
described below.
The status display in column “Status” shows the current state of the
alarm and corresponds to the display in the main dialog box of
NCTerminal
. The colours signify the following:
Tab. 5-4
Activation Display
Grey:
No alarm is activated, alarm triggering is not possible
Green:
The alarm is activated and in idle state
Red:
The alarm is activated and in alarm status
