Connecting the Main PTZ Camera
#
To connect the main Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera to the HD5000 computer
1. Connect the supplied S-Video + Camera Control cables as follows: the
S-VIDEO
connector on the video card and the
S-VIDEO
connector on
the camera.
2. Connect the camera control cable between the camera’s
VISCA IN
connector on the camera and the
COM1
serial port on the rear panel of the
HD5000
computer (see the illustration below).
3. Place the camera at the vantage point you want.
4. Connect the power cable between the power supply and the camera’s
DC IN connector.
CAUTION
Make sure that the computer and the camera are turned off.
Check the settings of the DIP switches on the bottom of the camera.
