Vacuum cleaning
WARNING: Risk of falling and injuries! Be particularly careful when vacuum cleaning stairs.
Use as an upright vacuum cleaner
In order to access crevices better, it is
recommendable to attach the crevice nozzle.
Disconnect the
brush base by
gently pushing it
down with your
foot and titling
the appliance
backwards at
the same time.
Press the hand-held vacuum
cleaner release catch.
Shift the On/Off button for vacuum
cleaning hard floors down 1x only.
The appliance is switched ON. The
brush roller is switched OFF.
Shift the On/Off button for
vacuum cleaning carpets
down once more. The brush
roller is also switched ON.
Remove the hand-held vacuum
cleaner from its console.
Shift the On/Off button down to
switch on the hand-held vacuum
cleaner.
Shift the On/Off button back to switch
off the hand-held vacuum cleaner. If
you have not yet done so, remove the
crevice nozzle. Attach the hand-held
vacuum cleaner at the bottom first
and pivot it into its console so that
you hear and feel it click into place.
Use as a hand-held vacuum cleaner
CAUTION: Only switch on the rotating brush roller on completely non-sensitive carpets.
Even then, never stay too long in the same spot.

and before you insert the hand-held vacuum cleaner or remove it from its console.
