General information
In the centre console below the
climate controls, there is an AUX
socket and a USB socket for the
connection of external audio data
sources.
Caution
Do not charge USB accessory
equipment at the USB socket. The
heat generation may cause
performance issues or damage
the Infotainment system.
If configurable, change settings of
the equipment, e.g. Smartphones,
so that USB connection is only
used for data transmission and not
for charging.
Note
The sockets must always be kept
clean and dry.
Auxiliary devices
Possible auxiliary audio sources
include:
■ Laptop computer
■ MP3 player
■ Tape player
This socket is not an audio output. Do
not plug headphones into the
auxiliary input. Set up any auxiliary
devices with the vehicle in P (Park).
Connect a 3.5 mm cable from the
auxiliary device to the auxiliary input.
When a device is connected, the
system automatically begins playing
audio from the device over the vehicle
speakers.
