2.3 SmartCheck™ technology
SmartCheck™ technology is an innovative concept to achieve optimum reliability
in self-measurement of blood pressure. Highly accurate measurement result is
achieved by the automatic analysis of three successive measurements (see
section 5.5 Measuring procedure). As human blood pressure is dynamic and can
fluctuate, the SmartCheck™ technology provides a convenient way to obtain an
accurate measurement, even during arrhythmia. This results in greater accuracy
when compared to the calculation of average result.
