7 FAULT FINDING

The burner cannot be lit

Possible causes: 
•  No fuel is in the burner module. 
•  The fuel level is too low.
•  The burner’s safety system makes it hard to start. 
•  The fuel being used is incorrect, or has been diluted by excess cleaning liquid or the like. 
•  The regulator lid is not fully open.

Measures: 
•  Add fuel.
•  Start the burner according to the instruction in Section 4.1. 
•  Change the fuel. See Section 4.2.1 for recommendations.  
•  Open the regulator lid until it stops. If the burner opening is still not fully exposed, see 

the assembly instructions for correct placement. If this does not help, contact the place of 

purchase for the nearest service technician

The burner starts but goes out again 

Possible causes:
•  Low fuel level.
•  The regulator lid is not fully open.
•  The burner’s safety system makes it hard to start.

Measures:
•  Repeat the starting procedure.
•  Add fuel.
•  Start the burner according to the instruction in Section 4.1 point 4.
•  Open the regulator lid until it stops. If the burner opening is still not fully exposed, see 

the assembly instructions for correct placement. If this does not help, contact the place of 

purchase for the nearest service technician. 

The flame is unstable, or unusually large, or it leans toward one side 

Possible causes:
•  The flame is exposed to a draught.
•  The burner is leaning on its foot.
•  The wrong type of fuel is being used.
•  Soot or residue particles have fallen down into the combustion system during operation.  

Measures:
•  An unusual flame can result if the flame is exposed to strong draught. This applies especially
