CARE AND CLEANING
VAUDE baby carriers are made of rot-resistant mate-
rials, however you should still dry the carrier well as
soon as possible after it has got wet. Otherwise it may
develop unattractive stains and mildew marks. Stains
and dirt are best removed with a damp sponge and a
mild detergent. For very heavy staining, the baby carri-
er can also be cleaned in the bath or shower. Do not dry
clean the baby carrier or put it in the washing machine!
For cleaning, it is possible to release the standing base
from the carrier frame using the Velcro fastenings. Af-
ter this unfasten the large Velcro fastening on the up-
per side of the base and both Velcro loops underneath
the standing base locking mechanism. Before using the
carrier again, do this in reverse and make sure all Vel-
cro fastenings are once more securely fastened. Now
the standing base is ready to be used again. Stiff zips
can be treated with silicon spray and a toothbrush.
