ConneCtion
:
Voltage ratio at site
100V - 240V, 1 phase =
User
can connect machine
Cable with plug
is delivered with the machine
Only this cable must be used for the connection
The machine must only be connected to an
earthed mains supply
T
he cable is fixed to the machine in the plug made of sili
-
cone, see
“
Components of the machine” page 9
The machine is protected by a 10A fuse built into the socket
on the back of the machine.
Voltage ratio at site
380 - 480 V, 2 or 3 phases, neutral or not =
Technician
must connect machine
Cable without plug
is connected to the machine
the cable must be mounted in the wall socket
The machine must only be connected to an
earthed mains supply
When the machine is connected,
phase + n earth
or
phase + phase + earth
should be used. In both cases,
it is important to ensure that the voltage between the two
live pins matches the name plate.
Before the machine is connected to the mains, check that
the voltage and frequency printed on the name plate are
correct for the installation location
.
The name plate is positioned uppermost on the back of the machine.
The machine must be earthed. Failure to do so may cause injury
.
If there is no earth connection, the EMC filter will not work, with the
risk of damage to the frequency converter.
NOTE
The machine must be protected
by a Residual Current Device:
Installation in industrial environ-
ment: HPFI type A-SI / PFI type B
Housing, business, light indus-
try: HPFI type A-SI
