Creating a Bootable USB Flash Drive
1.
Insert a USB flash drive into an Ubuntu host;

Open a terminal and type sudo dmesg|grep sd to enumerate the name of the USB
devices;

The USB flash drive is mapped as
sdc
in the system;
4.
Unmount the USB flash drive;
5.
Enter the directory (…/SW/img) of the image file (xxx .wic);
6.
Use the dd command to write the image file to the USB flash drive;
7.
Synchronize the data to the USB flash drive (sync);
8.
Unplug the USB flash drive and re-plug it to the Ubuntu host;
