7.16.1 EFIS
The Advanced Flight Systems AF3400EF (SV) and
AF3400EM (SV) are integrated electronic flight information
systems (EFIS), combining air data computer, solid state
gyros, engine monitoring. synthetic vision, flight director and
navigation display functions all in one system.
The left and right displays are able to display all available
data, which is exchanged over an Ethernet link. However,
the left display unit contains the gyro and air data portion of
the sensors, while the right display unit integrates all engine
monitoring data. Both displays are backed up by their own
internal batteries, providing at least 1 hour of operation
independent of the main electrical bus.
Several main screen layouts are available to choose from
(pictures without synthetic vision).
