5). Install the thermally activated switch behind the burner
as per the image ( Figure 22), and slide the wires into the
valve compartment.
6). Install the fan speed control on the front bracket, and
connect the wiring as shown in image ( Figure 34).

Glass Media placement:
The VL36BN gas fireplace is equiped with glass media of
choice. Please install as shown below.

Important Notice:
After the fan is installed and the wiring harness is connect-
ed, place the burner tray back into the fireplace, Don’t for-
get to screw it along the back and side walls, and along the
fan separation wall. The separation wall and the burner tray
MUST be tightened together with standard metal screws (
5-holes placed in an “S” shape behind the burner) in order
to seal the fan compartment, and combustion air chamber.
DO NOT apply silicone sealant when you are fastening the
tray back into place.. Ensure the wiring harness is clear, and
placed neatly back into the valve compartment.
