4.0 RFD-200 S2 Application
4.1 Setting Voltage or Current source
Note
In the following instruction steps, all references to panel controls,
indicators and terminals will be exactly as marked on the panel
and are noted in bold capital letters.
Perform the following steps to select and set the voltage or current source.
1. Make sure RFD-200 S2 output is off (OFF LED on the test mode is on, see figure 4)
2. Connect the device under test (DUT) to a voltage or current output of the RFD-200 S2.
2A. If the RDF-200 S2 voltage source is to be used, the user can monitor this voltage
using the RFD-200 S2 External Voltage Input. To monitor this voltage, connect the
RFD-200 S2 voltage source output to the RFD-200 S2’s
VOLTAGE INPUT
terminals.
3. Turn the
OUTPUT CONTROL
knob to the zero position (i.e., fully CCW).
4. Select
ON
in the Control Mode
box.
5. Observe that the
ON
indicator is lit.
6. Turn the
OUTPUT CONTROL
knob up to desired test voltage or current.
7. Observe the voltage or current setting on the LCD readout.
Note
1. Select
OFF
in the
CONTROL MODE
to turn off the voltage/current source.
2. RFD-200 S2 current source output is displayed on the LCD when the “RFD-
200” current LED is lit.
