Configuration examples
The following example illustrates the calculation and scaling of
seting values and the grouping of output relays in a typical
protection configuration. The numerical values given in the
example are to be regarded as guidelines only.
Example:
The example is based on the technical application drawing of
Chapter 3, Figure 3.1-1. in the technical description.
In the application the following functions and stages are used:
•
Two-stage overcurrent protection (I>, t> and I>>, t>>)
•
Stall protection Ist> (Ist>, ImotSt, Type, tDT>)
•
Overload protection (T>, Alarm, Tau, Tau2, Imax40,
Imax70, Tamb)
•
Two-stage residual current protection (Io>, to>and Io>>,
t>>)
•
Frequent start protection N> (Sts/h, Interval)
The above functions are enabled via the ENABLE menu by
selecting the "On" in the ENABLE menu, see Chapter 5.2. the
functions not to be included are disabled by selecting the “Off”
value.
