Step 3
Tie the string around the servo lead. Pull the
lead through the wing and out of the hole at the
center.
Step 4
Position the servo in the wing with the servo
output shaft toward the aileron (or flap). Use a
felt-tipped pen to mark the locations for the
mounting screws. Use a pin vise and 1/16-
inch (1.5mm) drill bit to drill the holes for the
screws. Use 2 - 3 drops of thin CA to harden the
surrounding wood.
Step 5
Secure the servo in the wing using a #1
Phillips screwdriver and the hardware provided
with the servo.
Step 6
Slide a clevis retainer on a clevis, then thread
the clevis 12-turns on a 4-inch (100mm)
pushrod wire. Connect the clevis to the control
horn as shown.
