The size of the existing
replace cavity will affect the
method of installation. Smaller
replaces, particularly
factory-built zero-clearance
replaces will require the
RF24
rebox to be disassembled then reassembled
inside the
replace. Plan your particular installation
accordingly.
1. Unpack appliance.
2. Remove window.
3. Remove log pack from
rebox.
4. Strip
rebox down by removing:
a. Burner Module (4 screws),
b. Vent plate (2 screws);
c. Support Legs (2 screws per leg) (required
when inserting into small
replaces only)
Remove Window
3” dia. Aluminum Liner
Rough-in the 3” diameter vent liner into existing
chimney system being careful not to tear or damage
the liner in the process. Leave plenty of liner at the
bottom end if the heater will be connected while on the
