Servicing
If any attention is required for your appliance, contact
your supplier quoting the model number. It will be
helpful if the appliance’s serial number can also be
quoted. This number is on the rating plate, which is
located under the burner. The replacement parts are
shown at the end of this manual. Please always quote
the part number and description when requesting spare
parts.
Manual On/Off Switch
In cases where you want to turn off your fireplace
and cannot do it with the remote control handset
(misplaced, lost, dead batteries, etc.) or if you need to
replace the batteries in the battery box, you can turn off
the appliance with the manual switch located on the left
hand side of the appliance. Remove the left hand side
door to access the switch.
If the 1265WSK Wall Switch Kit is installed and the
remote control will not be used, remove the battery
from the handset and store it away.
If you are planning not to use your fireplace for a
prolonged period of time, remove the battery from the
remote handset and turn off the gas valve using the
manual ON/OFF switch.
Automatic Turn Down/Shut-Off
The remote control system is equipped with safety
features which will turn down or shut off the appliance
in certain circumstances.
