Installation
Gas Supply
Inlet Connection
The appliance is sup-
plied with a
fl
ared elbow
connector
fi
tted onto the
valve and a
fl
ex connec-
tor supplied loose to be
attached to the elbow
connector. To facilitate
the installation of the
fl
ex
connector, remove the
valve access panel on the
left side of the appliance
case.
NOTE:
The
fl
ex connector
minimum bend radius
must be no smaller than
the size of a golf ball
(approx. 1-3/4” or 44 mm) as indicated.
Alternate Inlet Connection
When the
fi
replace opening width is too narrow, you
may use common elbows and
fi
ttings (not supplied) to
redirect the position of the
fl
ex connector closer to the
side of the appliance.
1. Remove elbow connector.
2. Install alternate elbow (not supplied).
3. Re-install original supplied connector elbow.
4. Install the
fl
ex connector to the alternate elbow.
