Installation Planning
Installer—READ THIS FIRST
1. Unpack the appliance.
2. Check that you have everything.
3. Finish
framing.
4. Fit appliance into framing.
5. Remove overlay, barrier screen bottom brackets
and
fi
x the appliance to the
fl
oor.
6. Reinstall overlay and screen bottom brackets.
7. Install venting system.
8. Install
restrictor.
9. Connect and test gas supply.
10. Install bricks and logs.
11. Re
fi
t window.
12. Connect electrical wiring for decorative light.
13. Install optional wall switch if required.
14. Put batteries in receiver and remote control
handset.
15. Perform initial remote control set-up.
16. Verify operation and adjust aeration settings.
17. Install the remote control handset wall holder.
18. Instruct the homeowner on the operation and
maintenance of the
fi
replace.
19. Install the window skirt.
20. Install the control access doors.
21. Install the andirons and fret if required.
22. Finish the wall around the
fi
replace.
23. Install the surround/doors/mantel if required.
24. Install the barrier screen.
