Important Precautions

Important Safeguards
The appliance must not be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-
laden or wet atmospheres where petrol or flammable liquids are used or stored.
Never operate the appliance with a damaged power lead or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, has
been dropped or damaged in any way.
Do not cover the appliance whilst in use.
Ensure adequate ventilation space is allowed between the unit and any object above, in front or to either
side of the unit.
Ensure the appliance is cool before handling the soldering tip.
If the external flexible power cable is damaged, contact a qualified electrician for advice.
