Organisation of the food in the appliance
Refrigerator compartment
- Under normal operating conditions, setting the refrigerator compartment temperature to
4°C should be sufficient.
- To reduce the level of humidity and the corresponding build-up of frost, never place liquids
in open containers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the cooler parts of the
evaporator, requiring more frequent defrosts over time.
- Never place hot food in the refrigerator. Hot food should, first of all, be left to cool down to
room temperature, after which it can be stored such that there is sufficient air flow in the
refrigerator compartment.
- Nothing should touch the rear wall, as this can cause frost, and the containers can get stuck
to this wall. Do not open the refrigerator door too frequently.
- Store washed meat and fish (wrapped or packed in plastic), that you plan to use within one
to two days, in the lower section of the refrigerator compartment (above the crisper), as this
is from the coldest part, offering the best storage conditions.
- You can place fruits and vegetables in the crisper without packaging.

• The condenser must be cleaned with a broom at least once a year, in order to save energy
and increase its efficiency.
Remember to unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
Defrosting
The refrigerator performs full defrosts automatically. The water formed by the defrosting
process runs through the water collection point and drains into the evaporator pan at the
back of the refrigerator where it evaporates.
