Transient Protection Devices
Each sensor input in the QML logger has varistor (VDR) protection
against induced transients. The local data and Ethernet ports have
transzorb diodes in their inputs. For maintenance information, see section
Replacing Components on page 193.
Battery Regulator
Battery regulator is a charging and supervising device for sealed lead
acid batteries. The battery regulator regulates the charging/discharging
state of the batteries and allows simultaneous input from solar panel and
AC power.
LED lamps indicate charging/discharging. The lamps are active only
when the ON button is pushed.
