4.2 Connecting the start-up current limiter
(for VWS/VWW 61/2, 81/2, 101/2, 141/2,
171/2 and VWS 64/2, 84/2, 104/2)
• Fit the start-up current limiter PCB underneath the
electrical installation panel ( 1 ) by clipping the PCB into
the retainers provided.

Note
Take care that the current limiter PCB is
correctly latched in the retainers!

Key
1 Fit the PCB underneath the electrical installation panel
2 Remove the jumpers
3 Connect the control cable
4 Connect the connecting cables
• Remove the three factory-fitted jumpers ( 2 , dashed
lines).
• Connect the accompanying control cable from the
current limiter to the main PCB ( 3 ).
• Connect the input and output cables from the current
limiter to the connection terminals, paying attention
to the correct phase and colour (
2 and 4 ).
a Caution!
Risk of overheating!
The control and connecting cables must not be
run over either the main PCB or the current
limiter PCB.
Run the cables to the current limiter along the
side of the PCBs.
