Multimedia interface installation and connections:
The first step will be, disassemble the Audi Multimedia head unit, located above the climate or in the glove box
compartment using the removal tools. Disconnect all the connectors. See it on the image below.
Next step will be, disassemble the glove box compartment. Open the glove box compartment pushing the button
that is on the right of the car’s cental monitor. Now unscrew the screws and remove the glove box compartment.
Disconnect the electric connector of the auto glove box compartment, and remove the auto glove box compartment.
Once you have removed it, you will have enough space to perform the connections between the multimedia
interface, the additional module and the vehicle’s screen and you will have too, space to place the multimedia
interface.
It will be necessary to remove the aerator from the center of the dashboard. It has two holes, one at left side and
one at right side.

Place the
central diffuser's plates in horitzontal position.

Remove the central diffuser pulling off it, by the right and the left sides using the 3438 hooks, and disconnect
the electric connector.
