When the Sabbath mode is activated, the appliance door cannot be opened using
the «TouchOpen» door opening mechanism. To open the appliance door, get hold
of it at the top or bottom edge and pull. Alternatively, use a standard suction cup.
Risk of damage to the appliance.
7.2
Shelves and presentation shelves
The shelves are not height-adjustable. Shelves with bottles stored on them can be par-
tially pulled out. The presentation shelves are an ideal way of showcasing select bottles
of wine.
Converting a shelf into a presentation shelf:
▸ Take the shelf with rack insert out of the appli-
ance (1).
▸ Lift the rack insert at the back by ≥30° (2)
and pull backwards at an angle (3).

The rack insert locks into place.
▸ Slide the presentation shelf into the appliance.
▸ To use the presentation shelf in the horizontal
position again, follow the steps in reverse or-
der.

In order to be able to position bottles of wine on the presentation shelf when tilted,
the shelf above may have to be removed beforehand.
If only bottles with a wide diameter (e.g. Burgundy wine bottles) are stored on a
shelf, position them according to the illustration below.
For optimum temperature distribution, bottles should ideally be stored with the
neck facing the appliance door.
Bottles should only be stacked on the bottom-most two shelves (ex-factory ar-
rangement).

7.3
Divider shelf
The divider shelf (depending on model) separates the appliance into two cooling com-
partments; its position is fixed. The divider shelf can be removed for cleaning.
The divider shelf should only be removed for cleaning. The appliance must not be
operated without the divider shelf being in place!
