7.7 Drawers
The drawers can be removed for cleaning.
The way to remove/insert the drawers varies depending on
the pull-out system. Your appliance can contain a variety of
pull-out systems.
Note
Insufficient ventilation results in an increase in energy
consumption and reduction of the refrigeration perform‐
ance.

Leave the bottom drawer in the appliance.
u
Never obstruct the vents on the interior rear wall!
Note
The energy consumption increases and the cooling power
goes down if ventilation is not sufficient.
u
Always leave the fan air vents clear on the back wall!

Drawer on telescopic rails

Slide the rails in.

Place the drawer on the rails.
u
Push all the way back.
7.8 Lid for ColdFresh with humidity
control
You can remove the compartment cover for cleaning.
7.8.1 Removing the compartment cover
Ensure that the following conditions are met:

Bottle shelf is removed (see 7.6 Adjustable bottle shelf) .

If the drawers are removed:

Pull the lid forward (1) until it reaches the opening in the
retaining parts.
u
Lift from the back and pull it up and out (2).
7.8.2 Inserting the compartment cover

If the text THIS SIDE UP points upwards:

Insert the lip of the cover over the opening of the rear
bracket (1) and click into place (2).
u
Position the cover where you want it (see 7.9 Adjusting
7.9 Adjusting the humidity levels
You can adjust the humidity in the drawer yourself by
adjusting the compartment lid.
The compartment lid is attached to the drawer and may be
hidden by a shelf or additional drawers.

Low humidity

Open the drawer.
u
Slide the compartment lid forwards.

When the drawer is closed: Gap between lid and
compartment. The humidity decreases.
High humidity
u
Open the drawer.
u
Slide the lid backwards.
w
When the drawer is closed: Lid seals the compartment.
If there is too much humidity in the compartment:
u
Choose the “Low humidity” setting.
