10.    ReGIStRAtIon  

10.1    Registration

The cordless handset provided within your product package is already registered as 

HAnDSet 1

. The 

doorbell provided within your product package is already registered as 

Doorbell 1

.

This telephone system accommodates up to 10 handsets, including a maximum of  

two doorbells. You can add new handsets (

IS7101A

, purchased separately) or new doorbell (

IS741A

purchased separately) to your telephone base. Each new handset or doorbell must be registered with 

the telephone base before use. Additional handsets and doorbell registered to the telephone system 
are assigned numbers in the sequential order.

10.1.1  easy Registration for Additional Handset

Make sure the handset is out of the telephone base or charger and shows

. Place the handset you wish to register in the telephone base. 

The handset displays

 then 

HAnDSet X Registered

 and you hear a 

confirmation tone when the registration is successful. It takes about 60 seconds to complete the 

registration process.

If the registration fails, the handset displays

. Try the registration process again.

You cannot register a handset if any other system handset is in use.
If you have not set the date and time for the telephone system, the handset will prompt you to set the 

date and time after it is registered to the base. To skip setting, press
