Reader address
The reader is set to RAS address 16 by default. You must change the address for each reader to match your
system plan. You can only install and change the address of one reader at a time.
To change the reader address, do the following:
The yellow fault LED will be lit on the keypads connected to the same databus (main control panel -
system only) as the RAS you are programming, indicating
RAS Fail
. The panel is trying to poll address
16 and failing. Address 16 must be removed from the polling function.
6. Repeat the programming steps in
System databus programming
on page 4, to poll the new RAS
address and stop polling RAS address 16.
