TB 23 / Measure for the developing unit detection failure

:
The detection PWB for the developing unit may be attached while being tilted counterclockwise depending on structural
variation because there is backlash between the detection PWB and its holder at the main machine.
If installing the developing unit into the main machine under the condition, the message
“The developing unit is not installed”
may not disappear, or the connector terminal at the developing unit rear side may deform due to contact with the connector
holder on the detection PWB.

IELD MEASURE
:
Please correct the angle of the detection PWB in the main machine and the deformed connector terminal at the developing
unit by following the procedure in next page and after.

ONTENT OF CHANGES

Temporary measures: - Attached the detection PWB in the holder while aligning it rightwards.
- Checked if the main machine detects the detection PWB for the developing unit at factory.
Permanent measure: - Added the rib to the backlash part at the holder attaching the detection PWB for preventing the
detection PWB from tilting counterclockwise.
